Molson Coors and the IAM signed a new deal for the machinist's after walking off the job demanding better work-life balance and competitive wages.
After just over a week of strikes for 43 unionized laborers at the Molson Coors’ Milwaukee plant, Molson and IAM (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) reach a new deal.
The new agreement addresses the workers' main concerns about work-life balance and economic conditions. It includes better scheduling flexibility to protect work-life balance and improved wage terms that align more closely with inflation and area benchmarks.

“I'm excited to announce that our members at Molson Coors have ratified a much improved agreement to settle the strike. I'm incredibly proud and impressed by the solidarity shown by our members and our friends. Solidarity Forever!” Alex Hoekstra, directing business representative, via the IAM District 10 Facebook page.
In other news from the IAM union, Boeing has yet to reach a deal with 33 thousand machine workers in Washington. Read more on that situation here.
